I'd say mursaat mesmer is one of the most annoying monster. power spike and energy surge >.<
I haven't been back to cap stuff in ice floe since nightfall though, not sure how much better heros can handle the mursaats

Hmmm the monk boss that has healers boon took me a while, then i just took 2 wars, 2 dervish, and an enchant ripping necro (hero/hench) and pwned him.
Some ranger boss during a quest in the jade sea, i think you have to get his skull, can really own if your not prepared.

White Mantle Knights. Pound for pound, they've given me more grief at level sixteen than most monsters can at level twenty-eight.

You people seem to have some real problems with PvE. The only things from this whole thread that I can agree with are Avicara Fierce (Ignite up, Dual Shot in 3) and Mungri Magicbox, and even then he was simply a matter of taking out all the other groups in the area so that my henchies had enough time to beat down the unnamed Dredge Gardener and then him (I was monking).

1st. Shiro'ken Elementalist
2nd. Jade bro knights
3rd. Insects, They all annoy me - the Sound effects, the stupidly large amounts of rangers, the overuse of Posion
And the prizes for narrowest beam of annoyance - Dying nightmares

Caster bosses are easy to shut down. I remain puzzled by people who had trouble with Mursaat monk bosses, considering that all it took to beat them was Concussion Shot or Diversion.
Avicara Fierce are defeated by terrain and "Shields Up!". You'll still take some damage from their Ignites, but at least your henchies won't get spiked down by duals.
I liked the Afflicted and Jade Brotherhood simply because of the steep learning/difficulty curve they put on Factions. A lot of players got their faces raped off by these abnormally difficult enemies because they simply weren't prepared to face that kind of opposition so early in the game.

I personally hate those torment monsters, the one that uses deep freeze. a couple of em can rape my henchie team. Also, jade brother hood knights aren't that kind either.

Ugh, I remeber her being a bitch to kill.
When the Roaring Embers, Fire Dijinns and a couple Saphirre Dijinns get together, it's a 50/50 chance it's a 2 sec party wipe....with heroes at least.

Dream Riders followed by waves of Mindblade Spectres

Most things have in GW have effective antidotes.
Ever had a Echo-Shatter Hex mesmer in your party?
(oh, sorry forgot that, no one uses mesmers in PvE )
I still regard the lvl 20 Jade Brotherhood as the strongest monster teambuild. If they had been cranked up to lvl 28 in an elite area, they would have been pretty mean.

They do a bit of "cheating" (refering to OP). They are high level, insanely many and are backed up by environmental effects. A similar single group at lvl 20 would not been much of a threat.
